Large, fun pockets.....
A zipper pocket on one side......
......and fur on top.
Ta Da.....all done, and ready to wrap up for the Christmas Tree!
What do you think? Wouldn't this be fun to carry during the winter months?

*****THINK SNOW!*****

Ahhh....our first day of skiing this Season! This picture was taken about an hour before the lifts opened. We've been coming up here for years!.....
.........some of the locals.

Yup, my boots still fit.

Here's my hubby, Doug (kneeling) in the medical room. He's been helping relieve the aches and pains (through physical therapy) of the Ski Patrol team for years.

......and me with the camera (of course!)

LOVE the the search and rescue dogs. They're so well trained. What a great job for a dog!

Here's the rookie, Lemah taking it easy. I'm sharing the couch with her in the locker room. Good dog!
She was soooo tiny when I met her last year. Now she's all grown up, a whole year old!

**Christmas Village**

I'm obsessed. I've kinda, sorta thought that about me for a long time, but now I know it's true. It's 7AM, and I'm already needing a second latte'. You see, I was up late last night putting up our Christmas Village. My wonderful husband hauled out the large & heavy table (he made it for me years ago...) up in one corner of my kitchen. That's where it's made its home for the past 15+ years.
I've been working on some custom bags on order, but knew I had to put the Village together, and I needed a break from the sewing room. Besides......It's a tradition. It's cute. It's Christmas. It takes FOREVER. But, I need to have it up for our clinic's party this Friday. Doug worked on the Christmas tree lights in the family room while I hummed along with the Christmas songs on the radio, tripping over boxes, tripping over Frosty (my dog), and thinking "gosh, I could probably finish this in the morning"...but then the obsessed part of me would kick in. Now it's midnight. Finally finished. Clean up boxes. Vacuum floating Styrofoam. Yippee, I can go to bed! That's when I turn around and see the kitchen sink. Nope. Gotta clean up the dishes before bed. Can't stand to see my kitchen in the morning with dirty dishes! Yup, obsessed.

So, what are YOUR obsessions?

Now, into the family room to decorate the Christmas Tree!

Giveaway Countdown!

Just a reminder that the Winter Tote Giveaway is just a couple of days away!Be sure to scroll down and take a peek at what I'm giving away for the month of December....
I was out raking the leaves yesterday afternoon, and realized I won't be seeing any tulips in my pots next spring. The reason being, is that my geraniums haven't realized that it's December, and their time is over. I just don't have the heart to toss them out when they still look so pretty!

I've been busy with custom orders, and scrambling to replenish my inventory for tomorrow's show. I hope you get a chance come see me and my artsy friends at Maple Valley Bazart. This will be my first time with this show, and I'm excited. (The show's info is on my sidebar to the right of this post). I always have so much fun meeting all of you, so be sure and stop by!

Tote Giveaway!

Here it is! My December Giveaway.
This is a great tote to carry for the winter months. The body and straps are a black micro fiber, and topped with a faux sable fur.
I've attached a pretty, removable rhinestone pin. I think it looks stunning against the faux sable fur.

***The interior has a zipper pocket on one side, and a divided slip pocket on the other***

***I've put metal feet on the bottom ***
OK, here is all you do. Just leave a comment on THIS POST. You can say as much as you like..or just say hi. You can post once a day until the drawing date. The drawing will be done on Sunday, December 6th (AM). The more days you comment, the more chances you have to win this winter tote!
Gosh, what could be easier?
