Harley Ride to Leavenworth

We woke up to sunshine last Sunday. It was 6AM, and even though it was still August, I swear there was a hint of autumn in the air. What a great day to jump on the back of the Harley and take a ride with some friends.
After stopping by Starbuck’s for our caffeine fix, we took off for the back roads to Leavenworth. If you’ve never been there, and live in the area, you’ve got to make a note to go….you’ll love it! A little bit of Bavarian country right here in Washington.



Our friends, Susan & Lonnie, all decked out in their leathers....saftey 1st!



Strolling down the sidewalk past a great little book store called A Book For All Seasons. They sell new & used books.



Lots of artist vendors lining the main street.



Loooooove that yellow car.......


The streets are lined with overflowing flower baskets.....why can't I ever get MY baskets to look like that?



We always have lunch at Gustoav's. I love to eat on their roof top garden. You have the most amazing views from up there.

    Hey girl, the trip to Leavenworth looks and sounds great, it inspired me to look up MT. Shuksan to see if the colors are out yet? Hopefully we will be headed that way to take some pictures and just enjoy being in that neck of the woods. Glad you got to go and enjoy the that beautiful little town!!!
